When she and her family first purchased the property, Ann used her background in interior design to manage the 18-month renovation of the Heartstone Barn.
Though she had no prior experience in the wedding industry, Ann quickly realized the joy of being part of a couple’s special day. She’s pleasantly surprised by just how much fun it is to help bring these celebrations to life. Nestled in the heart of Virginia’s wine country, Kalero Vineyard combines the charm of a historic property with modern touches, creating a venue that feels both unique and timeless. Outside of running Kalero, Ann leads an active and fulfilling life. She is the proud mom of twin daughters, now in college, and enjoys hiking, running, and CrossFit. She loves traveling with her boyfriend and recently earned Level 2 honors with the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET), reflecting her love of wine and connection to the vineyard’s roots.
Ann’s ability to balance her professional and personal life while maintaining her passion for hospitality makes her work at Kalero truly special. It’s this combination of creativity, dedication, and joy that ensures every couple feels cared for and every celebration is unforgettable.
